SEND Teacher

Harrow

September Start

Salary Negotiable – £130 -£190 Experience Dependant

A school that has been awarded ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted for three consecutive years and teach secondary aged students with a wide range of special needs are currently looking for a teacher with experience in teaching Maths at Secondary or Primary Level. Newly qualified teaches are also encouraged to apply.

The school in Harrow now boasts a newly built sixth form centre and Autistic Resource Centre providing the school with the teaching and learning facilities that offer an opportunity for students and teachers to thrive in and maximise potential.

From September they will require a full time teacher, the school have suggested that there is potential for career growth as they are looking for a new head of Maths.

If you were to apply for this role you would need the following skills and qualifications:

• QTS teaching or a UK recognised teaching qualification teaching at a primary or a secondary level.

• To have worked with students with Special needs, preferably ASD.

• Thorough knowledge of the National Curriculum and its implications for children with complex learning difficulties
