Protocol are currently seeking to appoint an outstanding Special Educational Needs Teacher to join a school located in Shrewsbury.


This is a school that caters for students with a broad range of SEN, these primarily being ASD, MLD and some physical difficulties, who are 3 to 19 years of age. We currently have full-time positions available starting in September, on an ongoing, long term basis.


You should be comfortable working with a range of age groups and be a confident individual who is creative with their teaching and a natural communicator. You will be working alongside experienced Teaching Assistants and support staff, ensuring that students receive the education and support that they deserve.


The Ideal candidate

Will have QTS
Proven experience working with children with SEN
Highly creative in a classroom setting
Knowledge within the education sector
Passion for supporting the learning of children
In date DBS & on the Update Service

What to do next:

To be considered for this position you will be required to attend a face to face registration and hold an enhanced DBS check in Child and Adult Workforce; you will need to pay for this upfront and add this to the Update Service. At the registration we will discuss in more detail the work that you are looking for, your experience to date, and also how we are going to work best for you.

We will need to gain references to cover the last 2 years, and a minimum of 2 references must be a school based. Our compliance team have a rigorous safeguarding and clearance process and this is how we know we are working with the best possible team of staff to employ in our schools.
