Protocol are currently recruiting for one of our client schools in Nottingham. The school has an encouraging support system in place for its pupils which enables them to fulfil their potential.

We are currently recruiting for SEMH Teachers. The position is to work with children who present behavioural difficulties or have a diagnosis of either Autism or Social, Emotional Mental Health concerns. The young people are aged between 10-17 years old and work in small groups that are well supported by teaching assistants.

For the position, you must:

• Have experience working with children who display Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH).
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status or be working towards this status.
• Be flexible and adaptable to deal with the various challenges that present in an SEMH setting.
• Team Teach training is desirable.
