Job description
SEN Teacher (ASD)
Fully qualified Teacher specialising in Autism is required for an inclusive school in Barking The school's ethos is to work towards improving the lives of students affected by autistic spectrum disorders. The school works to access the mainstream specialist curriculum which includes access to ASDAN and GCSE streams of study. The core curriculum is delivered via a streamed approach with a commitment to learning, a commitment to the students and a commitment to the school.
The school require an Autistic spectrum teacher with experience in adult literacy and numeracy in addition to skills using ASDAN and ICT. It is not essential to have experience working with Special Needs but this would be looked on favourably.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fantastic and supportive team of teachers and support staff.

Candidates must be fully qualified and hold a current DBS
