Protocol Education are currently working with a brilliant Primary School in the heart of Newham who require a SEND Teaching Assistant until the end of the academic year.

This two-form entry school was graded good' during its last OFSTED inspection and is working towards outstanding.

The school is a short walk from the closest tube and overground stations.

In this role you will work closely with the class teacher and other Teaching Assistants to create a stimulating and exciting work environment for students with different SEND needs.

You will be working with students with a range of needs, predominantly ASD, ADHD and SEMH.

You will be a vital part of students development and will be responsible for keeping progress reports and feeding this back to the SENDCO.

Ideally, you will have experience within the classroom, but the school are also willing to consider those applicants who have worked with SEND in other settings or their personal life.

•Candidates with previous classroom experience within the UK
•Experience working with students with SEND
•Excellent interpersonal skills
•A can-do attitude and a willingness to get involved in the school community
•A strong grasp of Maths & English (GCSE A-C Required)

This role would also be suitable for Graduates who are looking to gain classroom experience before becoming a teacher.
