Job description
Protocol Education are working with a Special Needs School based within Lewisham, who are seeking a qualified Teacher to work with pupils on a 1:1 basis as well as work in small groups of pupils. The pupils who need support are of a Primary age however this school cater to both Primary and Secondary aged pupils, so it is vital that you have experience supporting pupils who have challenging behaviour and autism.

The role:

• 5 days a week, term time only
• 8:30-4:00pm
• Based in the Borough of Lewisham
• Working with a class of 7-9 pupils and 3 LSA's
• Working immediately until Summer 2019

You must have:

• Experience of working with PECs or Makaton
• At least 2 years of working with autism and/or challenging behaviour
• Be experienced in EHCP's and tailoring them for each pupils needs
• Have experience of teaching either Primary or Secondary pupils
• Hold QTS or the overseas equivalent
