Job description
SEMH Teacher - Hayes

April 2019 start

Protocol are currently recruiting for one of our client schools in Hayes. Our client is an Ofsted rated Good' Primary school. The school has a strong support system through its senior leadership team with an open-door policy and have an encouraging support system in pace for its pupils which enable them to achieve far beyond national expectation both academically and with their own personal development.

We are currently recruiting for a SEMH Teacher to start after Easter and work until July 2019, this current role has the potential to become permanent. The position is to work with children who present behavioural difficulties and are currently not attending a mainstream educational provision.

For the position, you must:

• Have experience working with children who display Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH).
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status or be working towards this status.
• Be flexible and adaptable to deal with the various challenges that present in an SEMH setting.

At Protocol we undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00
