Job description
A Primary School in Islington is recruiting for a committed and passionate special needs teacher with experience working with children on the Autistic Spectrum (ASD). The school has excellent facilities and a well established Senior Leadership Team.

The school is looking for someone who has experience teaching and planning lessons for children with Special Education Needs as they will be required to plan lessons/ learning programme for the child based on their EHCP termly plan.

Must Have's
• Experience teaching/supporting children with Autism
•Creative and caring approach to teaching
•Commitment to inclusion and differentiation
•Ability to plan stimulating and enjoyable lessons
•Experience following IEP/EHCP
•QTS or equivalent qualification that allows you to teach in the UK
•Great team player and communication skills

Please note. We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
