Do you have the ability to provide support to pupils with challenging behaviour?

Can you be a role model and inspire pupils with SEBD? (Social Emotional and Behavioural difficulties) If so read on!

We are currently working with a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) that is looking for an experienced Behaviour support assistant. Working in a PRU is not for the faint hearted, therefore this role requires individuals with a specific skills set.

For this Behaviour support assistant role, you will:

• Be resilient and committed in providing quality support.

• Understand behaviour in pupils that present with challenging behaviour and who are disengaged from learning.

• Have the ability to act on own initiative in certain situations

• Have strong behaviour management skills

• Have an up to date team teach or equivalent

The school is located very close to two underground stations.

You must have a valid CRB check and have QTS.
