Job description
A specialist school for children and young people with complex medical, physical and learning needs in North Tyneside are looking for a creative, hard-working and highly motivated Primary Teacher to join their team.

They wish to bring in an enthusiastic individual who will contribute fully in raising standards through their teaching and personal contributions. They have a creative approach to the curriculum and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work collaboratively as part of our Primary department in a supportive environment.

The post will begin in September for a fixed term of 1 year.

All we ask is that you hold a UK recognised qualification. We can obtain references from your previous employers and have or are able to undergo the processing of an enhanced DBS disclosure.

Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
