We are looking for passionate, Professional and Proactive LSA's needed for a SLD and ASD school in St Albans area.

Are you an experienced Learning Support Assistant with strong knowledge of Autism and Challenging Behaviours? This special school in Hertfordshire educates students aged 2 - 19 with ASD, SEMH, SLD and challenging behaviours. We are looking for strong, reliable and resilient LSA's that can come in and be a role model for the students, make the lessons fun and enjoyable and be there to support them every step of the way.

If you have worked in care roles recently with children, young people and adults and have a clear understanding of how to adapt to different needs and emotions, how to work with students with complex needs and have a real drive and passion to support them into adult life, then this is the role for you.

To be considered you must have:

•Valid DBS or willingness to apply for one. (Must be on the update service)
•Experience working with students with ASD, SLD and challenging behaviours
•Resilient approach and able to be a role model
•Good communication and listening skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
