A warm, friendly and very welcoming school in Corby is currently looking for a BSL / Makaton Trained Teaching Assistant. The successful applicant will commence employment at the start of the new academic year.

The School has received a "Good" Ofsted report which has been reviewed and agreed in a recent inspection. It is a lovely village school with staff who enjoy motivating and inspiring their pupils.

You will be trained in BSL / Makaton to support a deaf child on a 1:1 basis.

The ideal candidate will:

• Experience with BSL
• Level 2 or above in BSL
• DBS
• Experience working with children or young adults with SEN
• A firm presence and strong behaviour management
• Professional manner
