Job description
SEND YOUTH SUPPORT ASSISTANT!!


Do you have a can do' attitude and are able and willing to have a positive influence on the lives of students in one of our Special Educational Needs Schools in East London?

We at Protocol Education are looking for experienced support staff and individuals with relevant skills. If you have previous experience of being in a classroom with students be it mainstream or in a SEN setting, we want to hear from you.
If you have experience in a sports background, youth club or as an outreach worker we want to hear from you too.

As a SEND YOUTH SUPPORT ASSISTANT, you will be required to set and maintain expectations and boundaries for the students. You will need to provide a level of consistency and a level of responsibility whilst being a role model for the young people in your care. Some of these young people will need motivating, inspiring and positive reinforcements.


Duties:

·Behaviour Management
·1:1 Support
·Leading small Groups
·Supporting Students with Personal Care
·Helping to Develop Social & Communication Skills
·Assessing & Monitoring Students Academic Progress

If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00
