Job description
SEND TA

SEND experienced TA required for long term roles in Nottingham/Nottinghamshire

Working with SEND schools in Nottingham area, we currently have roles in the following:

• Special Needs Schools
• Pupil Referral Units
• EBSD/SEMH Schools
• Alternative Provisions

Your new company
SEND schools based in Nottingham are currently recruiting for TA roles for this and next academic year. The schools need a TA with experience within a SEND environment to help increase the learning potential for every pupil.

Your new role
General Teaching Assistant duties working with SEND pupils who have MLD/ EBSD/ ADHD/ MSI/ PMLD/, within a SEND school ranging from primary to secondary students. Assisting the teacher with learning, social and mental well being.

What you'll need to succeed
Successful candidates will of had relevant experience working with SEND pupils, a passion for working with SEND pupils and be dedicated to making a positive impact of their learning development. You must also be aware of their key competences that are expected to go along side with challenging behaved children.

As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00
