Job description
One of our multi-site Academies are catering for children with special educational needs in Shropshire.


The school offers students a nurturing environment in which to grow, learn and develop.

We are looking for a suitably experienced person to work with KS3 and KS4 with emotional and behavioural needs. This is likely to involve supporting them to access a variety of activities. We are looking for inspiring and ambitious individuals to provide exciting and highly engaging activities for our students as a HLTA with the guidance of the teaching staff to delivery an appropriate curriculum that meets the needs of each pupil in accordance with the aims of the Academy.

Applicants should have experience of working with challenging young people, have a calm, positive approach and plenty of patience. You will be working alongside a small supportive team and receive quality training and support.

At a specified time, the role will require management of other Teaching Assistants within the Academy, including training, appraisals, allocation and monitoring of work. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, creative and enthusiastic to inspire and achieve the very best outcomes. Commitment to embrace new ideas and challenges whilst having a strong approach to pastoral support for all children.
