Job description
SEND: Teaching Assistant Hillingdon

Are you looking for an exciting, new challenge?
Are you passionate about transforming the lives of our very youngest pupils?
If so, we have the job for you!

This is an excellent opportunity to work in local schools as we are currently looking for passionate SEND Teaching Assistants who have a real passion for education, who understand how to create an inspiring learning environment and provide rich, creative and stimulating opportunities for their children.

The main part of your role will be to provide day to day classroom support to the children, assisting with pupil behaviour. Being able to establish good relationships with pupils as well as acting as a role model and responding to individual needs and raising levels of pupil achievement, offer additional support and help to foster a positive learning environment, also encouraging the pupils to interact with others and engage in activities led by the teachers.

Schools can offer you further training and professional development. As part of a dedicated team, you will have opportunities to develop your wider skills and interests to benefit their children.

In addition, you will benefit from a supportive consultant who genuinely cares about the teachers we work with. Honesty and integrity are at the heart of how we work, and we expect the same from our staff we work with. I will listen and consider your preferences; however, I am ideally looking for SEND Teaching Assistants who can do a minimum of 3 days a week and are happy to work across all key stages from EYFS-KS2. Working as a Supply Teaching Assistant can give you the ability to choose from different schools and can be a fun and flexible way of working in a job love!
We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00

If you are interested, please contact Hibaq Abdi on 01895 451 960 or email your CV to Hibaq.abdi@protocol-education.com.
