Job description
Protocol Education are a cover agency that are always looking for flexible, passionate and enthusiastic classroom support/ Care Workers with excellent personal and social skills who are dedicated to supporting children for day to day supply within SEN schools in the St Albans / Radlett and Hatfield area.

You'll support children to follow their own ideas and interests for play. You'll make sure there are safe, interesting and fun play opportunities to meet children's individual and group needs.

You'll also follow health and safety procedures and help children to be aware of their own safety and that of others.

Your day-to-day work may include:
• Providing and setting up play areas, materials and equipment
• Giving out refreshments
• Dealing with injuries and emergencies
• Building relationships with parents, carers, and professionals
• Keeping records


The ideal candidate will have:

• Confidence, as the children's parents/carers also stay for the sessions
• Ability to read and write in English to a good standard
• Previous experience of working with children or young adults
• Current enhanced DBS is essential. Or willingness to apply for one through ourselves
• Driver would be ideal
