Job description
SEN Teaching Assistant Needed in Kingston - January Start

Protocol Education are looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant in the Kingston area. The successful candidate will be working with children with special needs such as Autism, Downs Syndrome and Moderate Learning Difficulties.

As a specialist SEN Teaching Assistant, successful candidates will need the following experience and skills:

• To have worked one to one and lead groups with children with special needs such as ASD and MLD.
• Experience working with children with challenging behaviour.
• Excellent communication skills, the ability to use initiative and work well under pressure.
• Be able to differentiate work to support needs of children.
• PECS and Makaton experience is desirable but not essential.
