Job description
Temporary Teaching Assistants required

Then this is the job for you.

This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to join an existing team, who support young people on a term-time only basis.

We are currently working alongside schools in Hartlepool, who cater for students with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties. We are looking for people who have worked with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder or Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties.

We are looking for people with the ability to motivate and enthuse students to get the best outcome for them to achieve their long term goal.

The correct candidate will have experience of:
  • Working with children and young people with social, emotional and mental health difficulties.
  • Working with children with special educational needs.
  • Monitoring children's progress in order to support the class teacher.

At Protocol Education we have a dedicated SEND team, who take great pride in the extremely high service levels that we provide to both our schools and our candidates. Our service is honest, efficient, and reliable and will always endeavour to find the ideal school for every individual we work with.

We offer CPD courses on behaviour management and other SEND workshops, including valuable qualifications in Team Teach, attachment theory, de-escalation and introductions to both SENd generally and ASD specifically.
