Classroom Mentor

Job description

A specialist college in Croydon are currently looking for a classroom mentor with the ability to work with challenging behaviours.

You could be working with students between 12-16 years. Successful candidates would be working with small classes of 6-8 as well as doing some 1:1 work.

If you have a passion for young people and are looking for a new challenge this role could be for you!


The school are looking for individuals that are:

• Experienced working with special needs students
• Passionate about working in education
• Well-equipped to manage a class and able to adapt and adjust to work in a challenging setting
• Patient and resilient

Successful candidates will benefit from:

• Support throughout your placement from an experienced SEND consultant

• Opportunity to work additional hours
