Learning support Assistant

October Start

A special school for autistic children is actively looking for fun and creative Learning support assistants to work within their vibrant school. You will be working with children with the age ranges of 11-19 one to one and in small groups.

The school's vision is to give the community education which inspires and empowers individuals to do amazing and wonderful things. Their values are for their pupils to have ambition, respect, courage, pride and happiness.

This role will suit those who want to develop their career within SEND (Special Educational Needs) and education. You will gain valuable skills for career progression whilst making a difference in a child's life.

The ideal candidates for this position will have:

•Ideally worked with children in a safe guarded setting
•The ability to create and maintain relationships
•Strong communication skills
•Ability to remain calm
•Punctual
•Reliable
•A good sense of humour
•Creative Personality
•Willingness to learn

To work in this school, you need to be happy to support children in the best way tailored for their need. Empathy and good commination skills are key components to a successful candidate for this position.
