Special Needs Teaching Assistant

Are you passionate about children with special needs? Do you have a positive and can-do attitude?

A specialist school in the heart of Croydon are actively looking for special needs teaching assistants to work with primary school children with moderate to severe need. Providing a high level of support to children with a range of learning difficulties including ASD (autism), complex needs and PMLD (physical learning difficulties).


This school believes that learning is done as a unit and together everyone can achieve more. After initial induction you will have the opportunity to enjoy and get involved with the fun and creative lessons, sensory rooms and their adventure park.

This role would be great for you if you want to further develop your career in care or special needs. You will gain great experience and a chance to be a part of highly achieving school.

The ideal candidates for this position will have:

·Ideally worked with children in a safe guarded setting

This role is suitable for those who have experience of working with young children with special education needs or care work. You will have great inter-personal and communication skills, the ability to work on your own initiative and also to be an great team player.
