Job description
SEN Teaching Assistant - Kingston Upon Thames

I am currently looking to recruit SEN Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Assistants for a school in the Kingston Upon-Thames area. This school is currently expanding a will be opening a new primary education centre following the October half term. In this role you will be working with children across the Autistic spectrum and children with moderate learning difficulties. This is an amazing opportunity where you will also have the chance to expand your development through funded PGCE training if successful.

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will be required to have excellent communication, literacy and numeracy skills with the ability to deal with challenging behaviour.

Candidates must have:

• Experience with children with similar needs
• Previous SEND TA experience
• Knowledge of varieties of learning difficulties and Mental Health
• Interest in working with children
• A positive and enthusiastic approach
