Classroom Care Assistant

October Start

A specialist school for pupils with special needs and autism, are actively looking for support workers. This school age ranges from 3 to 19 years.

This school prides themelves on being a happy, vibrant learning community that inspires curiosity and creativity in their young people. This school believes that their pupils are children/young people first and special' second. They also strive to develop pupils' confidence, self-esteem, independence skills and achievement through praise, encouragement and the celebration of success.

This role is for those who want to make a difference in a child's life. These children have a range of severe and complex needs who will need plenty of support.


The ideal candidates for this position will have:

•Ideally worked with children in a safe guarded setting
•Flexibility - Willing to work across different age groups and classes
•The ability to create and maintain relationships
•Strong communication skills
•Ability to remain calm
•Punctual
•Reliable
•A good sense of humour
•Creative Personality
•Willingness to learn



To work in this school, you need to be able to support children the best way tailored for their needs. Empathy, patience and good commination skills are great components to a successful candidate for this role
