EBD/ SEMH LSA - Brent (located 12 minute walkfrom Colindale Station on the Northern Line)
Protocol Education are currently working with a Special Needs school based in Brent who are looking for an LSA specialising in EBD/SEMH. The position will be based within the Key Stage 3 & 4 section of the unit in a small class supporting students with Emotional & Behavioural Disorders and Social, Emotional & Mental Health problems.
My client is looking for an LSA with a strong personality and confidence to deal with a student who has suffered from post mental trauma and has severe Autism and can provide a consistent approach to working with their student. Their behaviour can be very challenging and previous experience working with students who have extremely difficult behaviour will be essential.
If you're someone who can take an objective approach to dealing with challenging behaviour, exercise patience and has experience with dealing with challenging behaviour then this role will be ideal for you.

·SEN: 1 year experience
·Speech and Language therapy experience
·ASD experience
·Personal care experience (not essential)
To be eligible to apply for this position, you must have experience working with children with behavioural, emotional and social difficulties. You will be available to start ASAP and be able to work full school hours 5 days per week
*Enhanced DBS required. This MUST be on the UPDATE SERVICE otherwise
