Job description
Are you a creative person with experience working as 1:1 ASD Learning Support Assistant?
Protocol are currently recruiting for a creative arts organisation that runs holiday clubs for 4-11 year olds in the borough of Southwark.
If you are a creative, enthusiastic person who loves working with children, this is the perfect school holiday role for you!

Your day will start at 07.45 onsite and you will be taking part in activities until 17.15 - you will have 1hr30 of breaks throughout the course of the day.
You will be working 1:1 with a child who has ASD to encourage your pupil to join in and enjoy the activities that have been planned for the day. You will receive a briefing about the child you have been assigned beforehand and it will be your job to ensure your pupil enjoys their day! You must have the initiative to know whether or not your pupil is enjoying the task and be happy to work off task if needed. Experience with ASD pupils is fundamental for this role so please only apply if you have proven experience.

We ensure that everyone who works for Protocol goes through the required safeguarding checks to the highest standard for candidate calibre to be the very best. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00
