Job description
EBD/ SEMH LSA - Brent (located 12-minute walk from Colindale Station on the Northern Line or Burnt Oak station and 302 bus takes you directly in front of school)

Parking on surrounding roads by the school site.

Protocol Education are currently working with a Special Needs school based in Brent who are looking for an LSA specialising in EBD/SEMH. The position will be based within the Key Stage 3 & 4 section of the unit in a small class supporting students with Emotional & Behavioural Disorders and Social, Emotional & Mental Health problems.

My client is looking for an LSA with a strong personality and is confident to deal with students who have suffered from mental health trauma, have severe Autism and can provide a consistent approach to working with their students. You will be working with a student on a 1:1 basis in this role. This will role will be based in the further education class (students up to the age of 19)

If you're someone who can take an objective approach to dealing with challenging behaviour, exercise patience and has experience with dealing with challenging behaviour then this role will be ideal for you.

·Previous experience working with challenging behaviour
·SEN: 1 year experience
·Previous PRU experience
·ASD experience
·Personal care experience (not essential)
·Provide Academic support


To be eligible to apply for this position, you must have experience working with children with behavioural, emotional and social difficulties. You will be available to start ASAP and be able to work full school hours 5 days per week
