This school is built around supporting the needs of children with MLD (moderate learning difficulties). The majority of students come from mainstream Primary Schools where they have been supported 1:1 by an adult. The team working at this special education school are friendly and they strive to make sure pupils, staff, parents, carers and visitors feel welcome, valued, and safe. They believe each individual is unique and has their own special talent that can be developed in a calm, thoughtful and ordered school.


The Role includes:

-Working 5 days a week within the secondary provision, supporting students with MLD in small groups or on a 1:1 basis to help improve engagement, interaction and raise attainment
-Learning and developing your LSA skills
-Working closely with parents to ensure what is carried out at school is continued at home
-A friendly and positive approach to teaching and learning, as well as the ability to quickly build up strong relationships and rapport with individual children
