A school in Chesterfield are looking for learning support assistants and teaching assistants with experience working with physical disabilities and complex needs. The school are looking for teaching assistants to develop academic studies, communication skills and cognitive stimulation through sensory integration. As part of the role you will be working 1:1 or lead small groups of learners.

Main Duties:
• Supporting students in a 1-1 or group setting
• Developing social & communication skills through sensory integration
• Working with students with visual/hearing impairments, autism, physical disabilities
• Behaviour management
• Comfortable or open to supporting learners with personal care and have Moving and Handling experience
