SEND TA Challenging Behavior

This Ofsted rated good' school is looking to hire a SEND teaching assistant with Team Teach and challenging behavior experience based in Barking and Dagenham.
They are looking for individuals who would like to further develop their current skill set and build on what they already know. The TA must have experience working 1:1 or in small groups. The ideal person will be flexible, hardworking, and willing to learn.
The successful applicant will:
•Be able to support the work the school does and buy into the school's ethos.
•To support children with special educational needs and challenging behaviour in a calm and patient manner
•Create and follow session plans
•Be committed to supporting children within SEND to the highest possible standard
•Build positive relationships with children, colleagues, and external agencies
•Offer consistency and reliability
•Be creative in finding new ways to encourage children to reach and exceed their goals
•Be able to find solutions to problems that arise quickly and can deescalate situations
•Have Team Teach experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
