Primary ASD Support Assistant

We are looking for an Primary ASD Support Specialist in the Newham area to work within our primary school covering key stage 1 and 2 for children ages 4-11. We are looking for a candidate who is patient and can support our schools children with a wide variety of life skills, while also supporting each student through their primary curriculum journey. Applicants must be experienced with a multitude of intervention techniques in order to support any students with any behavioural issues or challenging behaviour they may demonstrate. Our School wants applicants to learn through positive and happy environments applicants with a positive attitudes will be required to bring forth the school's values to the front.

Candidates that are applying must have experience with children across the ASD spectrum and be willing to take on the challenge of supporting these children. You will need to maintain a positive and safe learning environment in order to make sure these children thrive. Any applicants will be working closer with teachers in order to support each other with each student in the school and maximise each students learning capacity. Applicants with multiple communication techniques are encouraged to apply.
