Job description
Protocol Education are recruiting on behalf of a high achieving primary school who are looking for an experienced Special Needs Teaching Assistant to start in September 2018.

You will be working in a 2 form entry primary school. They are a fully inclusive school and have recently been awarded the Inclusion Quality Mark. They have high expectations for their pupils, and to prepare them for life after primary school, they aim to instill the following values in each pupil: Resilience, Perseverence, Independence, Co-operation, Responsibility, Resourcefulness, Tolerance. As a staff member you will be acting as a role model for all pupils, and the school know that it's right staff are the most important factor in ensuring children get the most out of their school experience, and are commited to supporting them in every aspect. The school has high expectations of staff and pupils and you would need to share their values and be fully involved in the whole school community.

As a SEND TA you will be working one a one to one basis with a child in Year 6. You will need to have:

• Previous experience working with Autism

• Experience working in a school setting and within KS2

• Have experience managing behaviour

• Experienced in assessing SEN children's progress and feeding back to teachers and parents
