We are looking for SEND Teaching Assistants to work in our Kent primary schools, supporting pupils one to one with their learning September 2020

As an SEND Teaching Assistant you may be working with one child, or more than one child who has learning difficulties. The most common roles are supporting children with Autism, disruptive behaviour, learning delay, speech and language, down syndrome and hearing impaired. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support the pupils in and out of the classroom.

The successful candidate will have:
-Previous experience working as an SEND Teaching Assistant
-Lots of patience, understanding and passion for the job
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-High levels of self motivation and drive
-Be able to set clear boundaries and structure
-Strong commitment to their own professional development

We will accept applications from candidates who have worked with SEND children outside of a school environment.
