Protocol Education are currently working with a number of Special Needs schools based in Greater Manchester who are looking for an LSA specialising in Challenging Behaviour/Autism. The position will be based within the further education unit in a small class supporting students with Emotional & Behavioural Disorders and Social, Emotional & Mental Health problems.
We are looking for support assistants with a strong personality and confidence to deal with students who have suffered from post mental trauma and has severe Autism and can provide a consistent approach to working with their student. Their behaviour can be very challenging and previous experience working with students who have extremely difficult behaviour will be essential.
If you're someone who can take an objective approach to dealing with challenging behaviour, exercise patience and has experience with dealing with challenging behaviour then this role will be ideal for you.

·Personal care experience (not essential)
To be eligible to apply for this position, you must have experience working with children with behavioural, emotional and social difficulties. You will be available to start ASAP and be able to work full school hours 5 days per week
