Job description
Full time SEND Learning Support Assistant job available in Manchester.

Are you an experienced Learning Support Assistant with special needs experience looking for a full time role?

A primary school in the North Manchester area is looking for an experienced learning support assistant/teaching assistant to work with one of their pupils with ASD. The student suffers from social anxiety and needs someone that can help de-escalate certain situations.

To be successful in your application you must have some experience working with children with special needs in a classroom or non classroom environment and be a proactive and personable team player. You will need to be emotionally resilient as the pupil can be very challenging sometimes. The most important asset to the school is their staff and their positive, energetic approach to their roles with the children. Team Teach would be a huge advantage and experience of using different communication techniques would be beneficial.
