We are currently recruiting SEND Learning Support Assistants to work with a range of Children with additional needs such as ASD, for Primary schools across Slough.

The area is richly diverse and has a welcoming community atmosphere, with a wide variety of schools from small 1 form entry faith schools, to larger multi-form entry academies.

In order to be successful you will have experience of working as a Learning Support Assistant, ideally within the SEND Team with demonstrable experience of providing 1:1 or group support to children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder or other Special Educational needs and disabilities.

Or transferable skills of working with young people and/or children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), this could be from your job or from extra curricular positions.

This is a fantastic opportunity if you come from a background of working within a SEND specific environment and are looking to make the transition into a mainstream school environment, where you can utilise your skills and experience.

We are looking for people who not only have experience but have a caring, patient, self-motivated attitude to work as it is essential that you are able to build positive relationships and be able to take initiative.

You will be working alongside the Class Teachers and the SENCO, to providing this specialist support to ensure that these children are able to access learning to the highest standards, ensuring that no child is left behind.
