SEND Learning Support Assistant

We are currently working with a Primary Academy close to West Drayton to recruit two Learning Support Assistants to work with children across EYFS-KS2.

In this role you will be joining a team of experienced support staff working with children with children with an EHCP as they progress through the school, this may be in small groups or on a 1:1 basis. Your experience and preferences will be taken into account as the school are currently looking for a couple of new members to their team.

The school have high aspirations for both their staff and pupils and are looking for people to join them who are committed to providing outstanding education, with enthusiasm and energy to take on the challenges and the rewards of this integral position.

You will need to have good working knowledge of the national curriculum to be able to support with learning and development, and ideally you will have experience of working with children who have Special Educational needs. We are looking for people who are dedicated, self-motivated and most importantly are passionate about working with children with SEND.

The positions are to start ASAP or after the half term so you will need to be available to work full time across 8:30-3.30 and be able to provide professional references including your most recent employer and ideally have a DBS that is registered to the online update service or be willing to put a new one through with us.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
