Job description
My client, a Good Ofsted graded alternative provision in Middlesbrough, are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated behaviour/inclusion mentor.

The role involves working with students to de-esculate behaviour using de-escalation techniques and behaviour management. You will be implementing rewards and completing risk assessments for rewards that are out of the school. Team teach is an advantage but not a necessity. This post is a non teaching role however you must be able to engage well with the students and understand the teaching environment.

Initially for 1 term but with the opportunity of a permanent placement. The service has 2 different sites across Middlesbrough so all candidates that are interested must be able to drive and have access to their own transport. They are looking for candidates who have experience of working with secondary aged pupils and who are comfortable with pupils that display challenging behaviour or have social emotional mental health.

The ideal candidate would have some experience of working with children who display challenging behaviour, who have social, emotional and mental health or autism.
