The role involves working with students to de-esculate behaviour using de-escalation techniques and behaviour management. You will be implementing rewards and completing risk assessments for rewards that are out of the school. Team teach is an advantage but not a necessity. This post is a non teaching role however you must be able to engage well with the students and understand the teaching environment.

They are looking for candidates who have experience of working with secondary aged pupils and who are comfortable with pupils that display challenging behaviour or have social emotional mental health.
