Protocol Education are seeking to appoint Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA) to join our successful supply teaching team to work in SEND schools throughout West Yorkshire.

When the current situation ends we anticipate roles requiring the expertise and knowledge that HLTA's possess. These could involve re-connecting learners to educational settings through offsite tutoring, providing 1-2-1 specialist intervention support onsite or providing strong leadership support to classrooms as they look to return to normality.

The role:

We are seeking Higher Level Teaching Assistant with recent experience across all key stages. We supply to schools that have learners with a wide range of ability levels and additional needs, covering everything from Early Years (EYFS) through to Key Stage 4 (KS4). Candidates with a background in SEND, nurture, therapeutic practice and behaviour management would be ideal.

Requirements:

To be considered for the position of Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) you will have:

• HLTA status or equivalent

• Experience teaching primary education at Early Years (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2) level or secondary education at Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) level.

• A genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Teachers.

• A passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.

All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS Check that must be registered to the Update Service.
