Protocol Education are currently recruiting for a SEND Teacher to work in a fantastic SEND school based in Swindon.
A fantastic, unique opportunity has come up to make the difference to an individual student. The school are looking for a an experienced TA/HLTA or a Teacher to work 2:1 with a student with very complex needs who is diagnosed with autism. Supported by an assistant, you will lead on teaching and learning for the pupil, planning and delivering lessons that are suitable for the level.
Working at a very low level, the pupil communicates through noises and is very sensory. Very much enjoys touching, cuddly toys and animals. Teaching will require lots of modelling of correct words, phrases and simple diagrams to increase understanding.
QTS and Experienced TA/HLTA will be considered
