A school in Newcastle for young people aged eleven to nineteen years old with a range of additional needs including severe learning difficulties, complex learning difficulties and disabilities and profound and multiple learning difficulties are looking for a Headteacher for the upcoming academic year.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong leadership background in special education to lead a school that Ofsted have judged to be Outstanding 2015, 2010 and 2006.
You will have excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills, as well as demonstrable evidence of understanding and empathy, for the learning challenges faced by our students.
All we ask is that you hold a UK recognised qualification. We can obtain references from your previous employers and have or are able to undergo the processing of an enhanced DBS disclosure.
