Job description
Are you a qualified and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant?

Do you have experience in severe, profound or multiple learning difficulties and/or disabilities?

Do you enjoy supporting children and seeing them develop?

Are you motivated , proactive and enthusiastic ?

We are recruiting on behalf of an SEN school in Newcastle.

We are sourcing for a variety of support roles across both Primary and Secondary.The roles are normal school hours, five days per week and are anticipated to last for at least a term . You will be working within a positive and supportive school community.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in SEN and will hold a relevant qualification. You must be confident, resilient and able to take direction .

The roles are expected to commence in September 2016.

In order to apply we ask is that you hold a UK recognised qualification and relevant classroom based experience.

We will obtain references from your previous employers and you must have or are able to undergo the processing of an enhanced DBS disclosure.

Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
