PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties) Teaching Assistant

West London

September Start

Salary – Experience Dependant

Protocol Education is currently looking for experienced Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants for September that can build a strong working relationship with children with Profound Multiple Learning difficulties. There are a number of school’s in West London that are looking for experienced SEND Teaching Assistants to work amongst their excellent facilities for children with SEN.

This is a brilliant opportunity for Teaching Assistants to utilise their skills and expand their skills and professional development in the SEN sector. We are looking for passionate, dedicated and creative professionals who want to make a difference and have the ability to differentiate approaches to individuals and provide an inclusive learning environment for students with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties and other Special Educational Needs.

We would encourage applicants with the relevant skill set and experience in the following areas:

• Personal Care/Manual Handling

• A good understanding of Special Education Needs, specifically PMLD or ASD

• Makaton

• A patient attitude towards students with SEN

• Confident with challenging behaviour
