Job description
ASD Teaching Assistant Role in Haringey

A special needs school based in Haringey are currently looking for a learning support assistant (LSA) with experience supporting KS1/KS2 students with Autism (ASD).This is a large school that supports student with high and low functioning autism, at times these students can be very challenging . This is a great opportunity for anyone that has previously worked with ASD students and is looking for a change of environment.

We are looking for talented TA’s and LSA’s that are interested and passionate in working within the special educational needs and disabilities sector (SEND). Due to the nature of the environment it is essential that you can demonstrate a resilient and caring attitude.

The school are looking for individuals that are:

• Passionate about working in education

• Experienced working with children on the Autistic spectrum

• Adaptable, and able to work in a challenging setting

• Interested in working in a different environment

• Committed, resilient and caring

Please note that you will not be considered for this position if you don’t possess an enhanced DBS Disclosure, or if you are not eligible to work in the UK.
