Job description
Protocol Education are working with an SEN Further Education College in North London to recruit a number of teaching assistants to work with young adults with learning, behavioural and physical disabilities.

You will have experience working with individuals with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), and should be willing to assist with changing, feeding and other personal care of the students. Experience working with children or adults with behavioural difficulties would be advantageous. The college opened in September 2015 and is set to double in capacity in time for September 2016. There will be opportunities for successful candidates to grow with the college.

Students at the college are aged between 16-25 years old and have varying levels of special education needs. The emphasis of the college is transitioning young adults from education into adult life. There are plans to build temporary living quarters on the site to prepare students for independent living.
