Job description
Level 1 teaching assistant job in September.

A Sheffield based School for children with sever and complex needs is looking for a level one teaching assistant to join their team in September.

The school is for children with complex learning difficulties however there is also a provision for children who's academic achievement will be higher in a special school setting. Therefore the ideal applicant will have developed behavioural management skills. Furthermore, the applicant should work well as part of a team as they will be working closely with teachers and support staff. However, they should also show initiative and resilience in their teaching approach.

As the post is in a school for children with special educational needs, experience working with children and young people in this sector is preferred.
