An extremely supportive special needs secondary school in Tower Hamlets are looking for TAs to support children who are Hearing Impaired and have other forms of SEN.
The school are looking for someone with a Minimum level 2 in BSL to work with KS3/KS4 students with SEN needs in their provision. With a very inclusive approach, the school supports children who are hearing impaired, along with having additional needs such as EAL, Autism, Complex Needs or MLD. You would be working with them to support their learning along with the social and emotional development. It would be well suited for someone who wants to be involved with the SEN Team in coming up with ideas and resources with regards to the best approach in supporting the students on an Individual Basis, along with group work.
The ideal person would be someone with a Minimum of BSL level 2, experience in planning and delivering activities/lessons to students who are hearing impaired or have other forms of SEN, are keen to become part of a highly dedicated team who are sensitive to each individual's needs along with having a passionate approach to working with SEB, who is able to engage and get involved with the students and the rest of the school Ethos.
