Protocol Education is recruiting for a compassionate English Teacher to join a specialist SEND secondary school in Gateshead this September.

The successful candidate will teach secondary-aged pupils, many of whom are working academically at Year 5 and Year 6 level, meaning strong differentiation skills are essential.

Your Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging English lessons
• Differentiate learning for KS2 abilities
• Assess pupil progress
• Encourage confidence and independence
• Support positive behaviour
• Work alongside experienced SEND professionals

We're Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status
• Secondary English teaching experience
• Knowledge of SEND
• Creativity and flexibility
• Ability to support the school's religious ethos
• Excellent communication skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
