Job description
Protocol Education is seeking a dynamic, approachable and enthusiastic individual to work as a Teaching Assistant at a Special Education Needs (SEN) school in the London Borough of Harrow.

This is a full-time role, starting in early September, and would suit an individual with experience working with children or young adults with specific learning needs, such as Autism, Down’s syndrome and challenging behaviour issues. The school is close to public transport and facilitates children from ages 4 – 18.

Experience in a classroom environment would be advantageous but not essential. Fluency in English is important as you will be liaising closely with the children and with parents.

The role will be for 12 weeks initially with a view to a permanent contract for the right candidate.

To apply for the role, please send your CV to sblock@protocol-education.com or call 020 3219 7740.

Protocol Education is a leading supply teaching agency. We find jobs for teachers and teaching assistants in schools throughout England.

Our aim is to provide schools with the supply teachers, teaching assistants, support and SEN staff they need to be successful. At the same time, helping teachers, teaching assistants and nursery staff to find rewarding and career-enhancing jobs.

Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
