Protocol Education are currently recruiting care workers that want to make a change in their career and transition into education. We work with leading Special Needs Schools who are recruiting for teachings assistant that come from a care background.

A vital part of your role will be to create an environment that will empower each child to become confident, independent life-learners who can express themselves and their choices, whilst safeguarding, their happiness and safety.

Our school is located in Bristol, it is easily accessible via public transport or by driving.

The role:
• Work closely with students on a 1:1 basis
• Lead small-groups of students
• Support with personal care
• Assisting with recreational activities such as gardening, farming and bowling
• Support the learners in class on a one to one basis with numeracy and literacy
• Assist with their daily learning needs & activities such as shopping, washing & cooking
• Working within a supportive environment and team

• DBS Check
• 2 professional references and work experience gaps listed
• Proof of address
